I. Introduction
Ph.D. Fellowship of China Studies Program supports foreign students to research and study at the doctoral level in China, and aims to cultivate international young sinologists, who are proficient in international academic rules and capable of participating in international academic exchanges and research. It consists of two different kinds of fellowship: Ph.D. in China Fellowship and Joint Research Ph.D. Fellowship.

III. How to Apply
1. Applicants should complete the online application on the Center for Language Education and Cooperation Application System (http://www.chinese.cn/page/#/pcpage/csp). Please register an account when first visit the system before fill in personal information, upload required documents and submit application. Please refer to 2026 List of Tutors for China Studies Program of Shandong University (please refer to Annex).
2. Applicants must also meet other requirements specified in 2026 Application Instructions for International Students (Doctoral Programs) at Shandong University, Weihai.
IV. Admission
1. After the final admission results announcement, admitted applicants should log in to Shandong University, Weihai Online Application System for International Students (http://apply.wh.sdu.edu.cn) to create an account, fill in personal information, upload required documents and complete the online application. Paper documents sent by post are not required. Applicants must apply in the above application system, or the application will not be accepted by Shandong University, Weihai.
2. Shandong University, Weihai will issue the Admission Letter for the admitted applicants and the Confirmation Form for Foreign Students to Study in China (JW202) by email. Enrollment is usually in September or March every year.
3. Students of Ph.D. Fellowship of China Studies Program are required to participate in the annual review.
