I. Applicable Objects
Applicants who apply for Chinese Government Scholarship (Type A) to study at Shandong University through their home country's overseas student dispatch department (or the scholarship management organization for the program). Chinese Government Scholarship (Type A) includes Bilateral Program and Designated Scholarship Programs. 1. Please prepare application materials according to the requirements outlined in 2026 Application Instructions for International Students (Bachelor Programs) at Shandong University, Weihai, 2026 Application Instructions for International Students (Master Programs) at Shandong University, Weihai and 2026 Application Instructions for International Students (Doctoral Programs) at Shandong University, Weihai.
2. Applicants should send application materials to studyinsduw@email.sdu.edu.cn. The email subject should be: Pre-admission (Type A) Application + Applicant's Passport and Name. In the email body, please indicate the applicant's personal information (including name on passport, nationality, gender, date of birth and passport No.), the type of degree applying for and the major.
V. Others
1. Applicants must log in to the Chinese Government Scholarship Information System (https://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn/#/login) after obtaining the letter of pre-admission to submit application. Select Shandong University as the "Applying Institution I" and submit the required application materials within the stipulated time.
2. The pre-admission letter is not equivalent to the admission letter. It is only used to assist applicants in completing the application for Chinese Government Scholarship (Type A) in their home country.
